60J-24 Airborne SAASM Receiver (ASR)

822-2239-101

Overview

The Airborne SAASM Receiver (ASR) from Rockwell Collins offers big performance in a small package. The 12-channel ASR was built on our GPS Embedded Module legacy begun in 1990. The dual frequency ASR incorporates numerous advanced features, including all-in-view satellite tracking for optimized geometry, satellite dropout immunity and our third generation of Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM).

Our ASR is designed in accordance with the GPS “Receiver Application Module Guidelines” (GRAM-S) and provides GRAM-S performance in less than half the volume of a SEM-E receiver to meet small package/embedded application requirements. Fault detection and exclusion per DO-229 give you navigation solution integrity, and the switchable SPS/PPS function facilitates interoperability in civil airspace. Carrier phase measurement outputs enabling precision navigation solutions meets both NAVWAR and Global Air Traffic Management requirements.
