Condor Berlin upgrades IFE offerings with Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (October 06, 2009) - Condor Berlin will be upgrading its in-flight entertainment (IFE) offerings with the addition of the Rockwell Collins Airshow® 4200 moving map and in-flight information system on its new fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. The upgrades will occur between 2009
and 2011.

Rockwell Collins' Airshow® 4200 displays real-time flight information and moving maps in a rich multimedia format allowing
passengers to be kept informed and connected en route to their next destination. Key features of the systems include:
- Real-time 3-D day/night map views allow seamless appearance of dawn, day, dusk, and night, enhancing the real-time experience
for the passengers.
- High-focus maps offer incredibly detailed views that are optimized for destination cities and major points along the flight
path.
- Point of Interest (POI) panels triggered by the current location of the aircraft present image and text information about
various points of interest along the flight route. An optional expansion pack offers 3000 additional place names.
- Customizable graphics and multimedia enable airline-specific branding, advertisements and promotions.
- Flight instrument panels provide real-time flight information to passengers.
- World clocks are available in multiple formats and languages.
